Cory Doctorow

Bio: Cory Doctorow is a Canadian-British blogger, journalist and science fiction author who co-edits the weblog Boing Boing and is a regular contributor to Popular Science, Make and Wired magazines. As a copyright activist he advocates for Creative Commons licensing and flexible intellectual property legislation. Notably, he makes free digital versions of his fiction at the same time as the print versions are published. He was the Canadian Fulbright Chair for Public Diplomacy from 2006-2007. His fiction has won White Pine, Sunburst and Prometheus awards and he is also the recipient of the Electronic Frontier Foundation Pioneer Award.
