Eddie Schwartz

Bio: Eddie Schwartz is best known for writing such classic hit songs as "Hit Me With Your Best Shot" recorded by Pat Benetar and "The Doctor" by The Doobie Brothers. Eddie has won numerous music industry awards, including a SOCAN lifetime achievement award. He has produced major artists such as The Doobie Brothers and Rita Coolidge, and released four albums of his own. Eddie currently serves as the President of the Songwriters Association of Canada, and Acting co-Chair of Music Creators North America.
